Against DEMs
This bill prevents manufacturers of 340B-covered drugs from prohibiting or restricting the acquisition or delivery of 340B-covered drugs to pharmacies contracted with certain entities, such as community health centers. Under the federal 340B program, certain manufacturers are forced to provide a certain amount of their drugs at below market rates. This measure further grows government interference in the marketplace and enriches pharmacies by extorting drug manufacturers.

This bill requires all health insurance policies offered in the state to provide coverage for adults for hearing aids prescribed and provided by a licensed audiologist. The bill allows insurance companies to limit benefits to $1,400 per 36 months for each hearing aid, per ear. Each and every health insurance mandate or price control on co-payments prevents an individual from selecting a plan with just basic or customized coverages to fit their specific needs.
