Additionally, the bill requires currency exchange licenses to be renewed annually (currently every 2 years), the same as currency exchange licenses. Additionally, the bill allows the Attorney General to "establish reasonable fees for filings required or permitted by regulation or order adopted pursuant to this chapter, and other miscellaneous filings for which no fees are otherwise specified by law" and "retain all fees, assessments, and fines received under this chapter for the administration of this chapter." These enormous costs should not be imposed on individuals who elect to pursue activities other than higher education, such as those who start their own businesses or work in the trades.
